I'm going to school! =D
Hurray! I actually went to school, two whole days now! Life has been a bit on the crazy side this week... Between getting moved back in with my parents, last minute supply gathering, and then starting school, with job hunting after school, and John Cusack movie watching (what, I needed it! It's vital!)
So, for those who are curious, here are my classes this quarter-
Hospitality 101-Survey of hospitality, history, etc. Field trip class! Every other week we take a field trip to check out local businesses (restuarantes, hotels, wineries).
Hosp 103- Intro to Management. Mostly theory class on the history and styles of management.
Hosp 106- Hospitality Basics. Basically a certifications class, food handlers permit, ServSafe, CPR and First Aid, all that jazz.
Hosp 110- Hospitality Service. This class is learning how to be a fine dining waiter, and I mean FINE dining, includes actually working in the school's resuarante. I'll be getting my MAST permit tomorrow (Mandatory Alcohol Service Training) so I can legally serve alcohol. Apparently I'll be learning EVERYTHING there is to know about alcohol, especially wine. Should be interesting.
Yay school. I'm exhausted.. but it's 11 something and I'm still up. How is it that when you get less sleep and get up earlier, you ended up staying up later? Don't get it.
I'll do my best to keep in touch... just please have patience with me, I'm so horribly busy right now. Hope everyone is doing well! :)
