【Old Money】
Name: Shimizu Changmin (aka Shim Changmin)
Band: TVXQ/Tohoshinki
AU/PB: PB
Age: 19
Background:
- Although born in one of his mother's estates in Seoul, South Korea Changmin has spent the majority of his life in Tokyo.
- One of his first memories is the first day of Kindergarten at Eitoku and being bullied by one of the older kids - Jung Yunho saved him. It didn't take long for him to toughen up.
- From that day on Yunho and Changmin have been best friends, along with two others. It's hard for others to get close as he doesn't like most people and trusts even less.
- As half Japanese and half Chinese he is estranged from much of his extended family. Most of his family didn't approve of his parents union either. Seeing as his grandparents on both sides were the heads of their respective family's his extended relatives had little real say.
- Changmin's father is the sole heir to the largest luxury chain of hotels in Japan, which is currently expanding internationally.
- Changmin's mother is the sole heir to a popular South Korean airline known for their international flights from Seoul to Tokyo and other major cities.
- As an only child, Changmin is expected to inherit the "family business".
- Currently lives in one of his family's many estates in Tokyo by himself (and his personal servants, of course).
- As a child he was extremely well behaved; he participated in all of his lessons, academic and otherwise. As he's grown older he's began to act out. It's not unusual for Changmin to go out late and party, or skip class any longer.
- Adamantly refuses to acknowledge his arranged marriage whenever brought up despite the fact that he's in his first year of university and it's drawing closer.
Personality:
- Changmin is quite well known for being stubborn to a fault. It's his way or the highway and more often than not it's the former, not the latter. It's given him entitlement issues, but that was bound to happen one way or the other.
- While not terribly competitive for the sake of competing, he's been known to be a sore loser and is apt to hold a grudge over it.
- It's terribly hard to win over his trust, and far too easy to break it. Once it's gone, it's gone for good. But once you're in with him, you're in for life. Changmin refuses to abandon someone that he considers a friend or family, even if it should cost him.
- Is a connoisseur of fine wine and classical music but in private he's a total metal head and likes to relax by watching a baseball game and drinking a beer.
