I'll bet at least one person's head exploded Saturday after the announcement. And how much would it suck to be the guy standing next to the guy whose head exploded?
That is, of course, in reference to Starcraft 2. Think Warcraft, but space. And (allegedly) better. Of course, what I just put in brackets is like a death sentence in Korea. I mean, what's with Korea? They have effing Starcraft tournaments. It's like State of Origin, except it actually requires some degree of intelligence.
I might get into it, might not, see how it goes.
Speaking of getting into things, I sinned: I bought Jade Empire for the Xbox. Doosh. Bioware, I think, is the most evil corporation ever. Unlike EA (who makes ridiculous amount of money selling crap), Bioware sell quality games. I mean, really good games. Incredible games.
That's why they're the devil. They've got to release something crap, soon, surely? It can't always be Jade Empire this, Neverwinter that, Baldur's Gate chika-wow-wow. They must give us crap. Hell, just look at future prospects - Mass Effect is set to redefine console RPGs again, and it's like they're not even trying anymore.
Shit.
Anyway, I never did finish Knights of the Old Republic, and I did start a game of KotOR II on Dave's computer. Hm. Jade Empire is brilliant, and it inspires me to waste more time and money to go back and play the others. With Dark Siders. I never play evil. I always play as the champion of Good and Light, telling myself to go back and play as different classes/alignments. Never do. But I want to finish KotOR as a Dark Sider, focusing on Force powers (I usually opt for weapons combat). That would be sweet.
Jade Empire is good, it's different. There isn't round-based combat, it's freeform. Which is interesting and fun.
Heh.
So... how's... the world treating you? Stuff good?
Why must all my posts reclude to gaming rants? Really depressing. Now I know how a Mac user feels.
ZING.
