exercise routine

I love doing my workout first thing in the morning because then, I'm sure that every day I've done something productive.

It also gets it out of the way so I don't have to worry about being tempted to skip.

Oh for those out there that are doing the fitness routine, I found these tips that might be helpful...

Allow at least 48 hours between weight workouts of the same body parts. Your muscles need time to recover and repair themselves. (I do chest, shoulders, arms, and back one day and legs and abs the other day)

Take 1 day each week to rest with no formal exercise. (I take the weekend off and do gentle hatha yoga in the morning)

Warm up for 5 minutes before starting to exercise, either through a light job, riding on a stationary bike, or doing slow jumping jacks.

Stretching before and after a workout makes it 30% more likely to gain muscle.
