verus_janus Morgan works relentlessly, automaton. He sometimes sees his limbs, blood vessels, thoughts, deeds, comprising dried flowers - stiff, brittle, unbending lest he snap at a hand, curious or simply capricious. Once he had a wife, a child, with their soft petals of eyelashes and tongues, little toes and just such fingers, cheeks that could have been larger petals of dynamic soft magnolia, turning in a breeze of fortune.
All he has cared for had been thus. His care has blown with them - away on winds, cyclones and hurricanes of violence. Dry dead sticks are not touched by such air. Morgan remains.
