Deadline tomorrow night

Less than 36 hours to go! There weren't a lot of submissions over the weekend or yesterday and I was starting to get anxious and impatient, and then when I got up this morning there were a whole bunch in my inbox, and two of them were remixes of Yuletide fics, and one of them was a remix of one of my Yuletide fics, and thinking about the rare fandom connections we make with people we don't know at all as well as the fun of keeping a secret from close fandom friends, I just, man, this community rocks so hard. I totally love you guys.
Submissions
Are you finished with some of your drabbles but still working on the last one? Go ahead and send us what you've got. It'll be easier on our nerves and our cutting and pasting fingers if we can take care of some of them before the deadline.
Along with that, if you're sending in multiple submissions, I'd prefer a separate e-mail for each one. This isn't a big deal but it will make it easier for us to keep track of what we've posted already.
Pinch hits
I thought I'd fill you in on my pinch hit plan since I know a few people are eager to write more. The deadline is tomorrow night at midnight my time (Central US). I'll probably just be taking stock of the situation before I go to bed and then starting to deal with the pinch hits Thursday morning. The first wave of e-mails will be for taking care of the people who haven't had any remixes written for them at that point. Once those folks have designated pinch hitters, I might try to get extra remixers for people who've written multiple remixes but only had one written for them. I'll be sending the e-mails out to everyone (except the remixee) who said they might be able to pinch hit, rather than to specific people by fandom. Those submissions will be due by Saturday, though Thursday or Friday would be even better.
Posting
My co-mods and I are taking off remix authors' names and posting the drabbles locked to the comm as we go along, but we're planning to open up the posts over the course of next week (Sunday to Saturday). Each day that week we'll make one or two posts, each one linking to all the drabbles remixes from a small number of related fandoms. (For instance, one post for fantasy books, one post for BBC shows, one post for crossovers). We also have Delicious tags that we'll make public at the same time. The hope is that having fifteen or twenty links show up on our f-list at a time will be more manageable than 150, so we'll all have more time for reading and commenting as we go along. Then, probably on Tuesday the 23rd, we'll edit the authors' names back in and put up a round 6 masterlist. At that point we can all reply to comments and repost at our journals and other comms and then relax for a few months (or, you know, get to work on our remixredux09 assignments).
