You'll be happy to know that the new code for matching participants is currently being tested. It will likely be deployed on the archive this weekend. This means that we're making some changes to the schedule, and that assignments will not be going out by April 8.In order to give the AO3 coders time to work out

Does this mean that we can edit our sign-ups prior to this weekend, or would that screw something up? (I'm at four and a half Supernatural stories right now, and it would be nice--though certainly not necessary--if I could add Supernatural to my list of qualifying fandoms, should I finish that last story in the next few days.)

We're not opening them up for you to edit, but if you send us an email at remixredux@gmail, we can add a fandom for you.

(except their safe story. how do we know what their safe story is?)

You can remix anything but their safe story, any remix they've written, co-written stories, or works in progress (unless they are listed as abandoned).

The safe story and previous remixes should be listed in the details portion of your assignment e-mail.

Yup! Anything but the ones I've listed are totally fair game, no matter the fandom.

You are able to edit your entries to AO3 at anytime. Those posted to the remix challenge will just not be visible until the collection goes live.
