Trouble posting

I'm probably doing something wrong, and it's probebly incrediblys stupid but I tried to post my fic (several times) and it keeps saying this no matter what I do:

Sorry! We couldn't save this Work because:

• Parent work info would not save.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Somebody please help

Save to your word processor and go back to your AO3 dashboard and check under Assignments. I think they automatically post it Anonymously for you, so it should be there. I remember getting a message like that myself and it took some checking to ensure it was actually there. Good luck!

Thanks, I checked and it is indeed there under assignment, the status says unposted but it does say next to it that it was posted today, So I'm going to guess it's there

Yep that's what happened with mine. I think it's so the whole lot can be posted at the same time when the reveal day comes :)

A while back, I was having an issue with the parent work info link having an "s" (https) in it. When I removed the "s" it worked. Sounds like this may not be your issue? I can't really tell from what you've said :D

Thanks, it does look like that was te problem. It is now solved,sorry if it didnt make sense i was freaking out a little

So, removing the "s" worked? \o/ I totally know that feeling as when it happened to me I was panicking too.
