Vidcund never really expected that day would come, but there he was, getting married to the most perfect woman he could dream off.
Of course, all his life Vidcund had hoped to have a family, but he had also come to accept that his own apprehensive and timid personality, would always make difficult for anyone to accept him.
He didn't even like others all that much in the first place, and sometimes felt like he could barely stand living with his own brothers. How could he ever stand the thought of living with someone else!? Someone who wasn't even his relative, his own blood?
And, as it was hard enough to live and deal with his own family on daily basis, it was almost impossible for him to interact with others. And the few times he had opened his heart to some one else, it had only been broken in return, which only made Vidcund more insecure and reserved over time.
But the birth of his son, transformed him in ways Vidcund never imagined before.
His priorities and wishes all changed, including the way he received and welcomed others in his life.
He even quitted his job on the lab to become a school teacher, at first looking for a more friendly schedule, but soon discovered how much he really enjoyed teaching to young children willing to learn.
He felt absolutely fulfilled, and thought his life simply couldn't get any better...
Until he met Cassandra Goth.
She wasn't only purely gorgeous, but also smart, educated, and above all, she understood him.
They have same interests, and aspirations for the future; they both loved science and thrive in knowledge, but wanted more in life;
and because of her mother, she already knew about the Curious well enough, not to be surprised about the real nature of son,
... or any other of the peculiarities of his family, for that matter.
She was also extremely open minded, due to her unique upbringing at the Goth manor, and the amount of knowledge she had about all sort of topics, from paranormal to sciences, never ceased to surprised him.
As she surprised him at that moment, looking more beautiful than ever before, while they pronounce their vows, in front of the cheerfully faces of all their relatives and friends,
and made his life absolutely complete.

This chapter was pretty short, and probably not too polished, but it was only meant to show Vidcund's wedding, and the shipping match kind of inspired me to get it done now.
This is also the last chapter in this volume, so after this we are moving to teen years, starting with Alex's Bday. :)
Jic, Vidcund's secondary aspiration is Family, while Cassie's is knowledge, so they really match perfectly. And in fact, they had three volts even before I gave them secondary aspirations, so their chem. is off the charts now! ^_^
