Oh, I really love this-John missing Rodney, and thinking about him, and worrying about him, and then that perfect, hard-won moment of realization-he felt suspended between the past and the future, possibilities opening inside him, things that he never knew he wanted suddenly here for the taking if he'd only reach out and "I didn't know" and John knew - knew - in that split second where this would lead and decided to jump-SO shivery and lovely!

I really loved the way the original story showed Rodney discovering what John had done for him, and it made me wonder *why* John went to Jeannie, and then everything fell into place. I'm so glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun writing to the point where John could admit to himself just how much he cares about Rodney, and that maybe his concern was more than just buddies hanging out *g*

Oh, this is so lovely - I love getting to read John's POV, especially for the hug and the moment he realizes he wants this, that it's speaking to something he's been keeping locked up tight. So wonderful!

I love John to little itty-bitty pieces, and his attitude during the episode was so nonchalant the entire time until he went to Jeannie, and I had to figure out why! He and Rodney make me so, so happy - I'm very glad to know this worked for you :)
