This sort of story is exactly why I love remix (hell, why I love fanfiction.) This is an amazing story told in an amazing way, and I love it.

I love the structure, and I love how some of the stories you tell are about the historical Eternals and some are about people who have been called, and I love, love, love, love that Teyla becomes one.

You did an excellent, excellent job.

Oh, I am so, so glad that you like it. I had a ton of fun writing it.

I love how some of the stories you tell are about the historical Eternals and some are about people who have been called

I really wanted to get at how the Council changed over time, and at least attempt to reconcile the Athosians' current social system with the ruins of their world and a tribal council. I'm so glad it came out as a coherent story.

Teyla becomes one.

The funny thing is, I can't quite remember deciding that she should; she just sort of raised an eyebrow at me and took the thirteenth slot.

Again, I'm so glad you liked it, and thank you very much.

This is really wonderful; god, I get a shiver from the way you make Teyla a spirit of legend. BRA-VA.

Thank you very much. And your comment makes me think that when Teyla was little, her father took her to a fortune-teller, who took one look at Teyla and said, "They're gonna tell legends about you."

Given that I lived with witchqueen as she tried to write her story and how much I loved what she'd created (she hears daily my gripe over the Athosians being ignored) - I can brightly say this is just plain wonderful.

And I love how it echoed my own thoughts that Teyla couldn't find Gleena because she already had a calling.

Extremely and fantastically well done!

Thank you so much! I had an incredible amount of fun writing this and coming up with Athosian history. I really want to do a DVD commentary of this.

And I love how it echoed my own thoughts that Teyla couldn't find Gleena because she already had a calling.

That hadn't occured to me, but it makes SO much sense: she's Teyla. Gleena's all, "Kid, you already got a job."

This is pure awesomeness, evocative and deep, and the ending! With TEYLA!

Wow, thank you! And yes! TEYLA. Heck, she's already a legend.
