I'm impressed that the outcome of remixing a drabble turned out so absolutely gorgeous ^_^ -- that takes a boatload of talent. I love how motherly and strong Ella is and how much her opinion still matters to Jayne.

I adore that Mal charms her so easily and how she reminds him and makes him miss his own mother as well. It's got an easy and lovely flow and a warmth that put a smile on my face while reading. I did right by reading this one just before bedtime *g*
