"just stand still and look pretty..."
Hola! Wow, school has only been in session for 4 days and we have already has two days of school off. Fuck tropical storm Ernesto. Hopefully this will be the last of the tropical storms/hurricanes this year. I was expecting more from Ernesto, the storm was really lame. It was pretty windy I think because it kept whistling and it rained. Can't believe I have started my third year of college, what?!?! Things have been pretty crazy.
I can't believe that I am RA first of all. It's going really well too. Everyone (and by that I mean most) on staff is really nice and cool. My floor seriously has the best decorations in the entire building. I got mad props from my boss. It's a jungle theme and I have vines going on all the walls and we have this glass door that I painted a jungle scene on. Don't worry, I printed a picture from the internet onto an overhead and used the projector to trace it. It looks really good though. I love my floor. All the girls stop by on their own and its only been a week or so of my harassing them everynight. It really makes me happy. I am just sad because none of my friends are on campus now and I don't have anyone here. Oh well. I guess I need to bond with some of my fellow staff members. A bunch of us all played Cranium in my room the other night. It was pretty awesome. I had like 12 people in my room. I am so sick of having to deal with my temporary roommate. gah. so frustrating.
Classes are going to be tough. I have two really tough ones and two not so tough ones. Only 13 credits, but I am still going to be so busy. I have so much to do this year. Thank God fro excel spreadsheets. I have one for like everything. RA stuff, my next two year plan, med school apps, Program team, chem club, I think it's getting pretty ridiculous. You know me, I am always trying to be orgranized. Typical.
Got some cool cards and went out to Tu Tu Tangos for my birthday. It was a good time. I don't think that I have ever gotten so many phone calls/emails/facebook posts in one day. It was insane. I have so many people to call back, I wrote it out on my planner. This weekend I swear. I can't believe things just started and will only get busier.
God is it shitty out!! Watched an ass kicking movie last night, "Green Street Hooligans" about the football gangs in England. It was really good because I mean who doesn't love a good street rumble. All the girls on staff and like did you grow up with brothers because you really aren't that girlie. I am like no, but nobody in my family is really girlie so I guess that is where I get it from.
Got a call from an old friend last night. I haven't talked to him in forever. He was wishing me a happy birthday. He cracks me up. He was telling me that he is making bank now because he is a "porn star". Good Lord. I was amused.
