Jan 2013 - A Good Start
Its mid January. I suppose an update is due. Updates on lotsa things happening around.
Once again, I welcomed 2 new lives to these world. No, I am not a Gynae. But 2 good friends of mine became parents in January. So happy. One boy and One girl. All so adorable. I went down to the hospitals and did a baby pic with the newborns. I love babies. Not sure why but probably because in my hands, when I hold them. It makes me feel that the sky is the limit. And I was once a newborn and now I am this uncle. It's a reminder to myself. That whatever was set in life, I have to live it out and die happy at least. Ok, no talking about death. 1st post of 2013. Positive notes!
I had the pleasure of doing a party with Bestie and GGG, both Jan babies like me. So happy to see so many friends. Many whom I long to catch up. Those that didn't make it, bought me separate dinners. Blessed me indeed to have such loving friends. Caught up with my sewing class teacher over coffee and chit chat and updating each other with our lives. And I made time to find some friends for tea - those that I have owed a catchup session since I don't know 2 years back. But I keep my word. I might not get round to you that soon but I get round to you eventually. I hope I don't get mistaken for those who says "okok catchup" but never do. Cos if I never meant to catch up with you. I probably won't say so just for "face" sake.
LJ posts has dwindled in numbers of late. I wonder if my feed is not working or no one posts anymore. Or those that posts are not in my friends list.
Whatever it is, I hope they still take time to reflect and perhaps, take note sometimes, of what happens in their lives.
I'll try to update once a mth. I resolve lah. =)
