So after a red -eye flight. I find myself waking up to cold air. Shit it IS cold! I let out a sudder as the automatic doors open to let the draft in.
After a 1/2 an hour taxi ride, we finally got to Eric's place. Russell was there. And we got ourselves welcomed in. The place is a nice cosy one. We had our own room! And a queen size bed. I was a bit worried cos Travel Buddy said he would kick. I replied saying that i'll just shoved him off. There's always the couch.
Russ brought us for lunch at this place called Red Tongue which serves really yummy eggplants! TB had the breakfast. It all ended quite nicely. And we went out for a little stroll. I'd left my bag of moisturiser and lip balm and sunblock on the plane so I needed new ones. Well, just the lippie... cos I have extras for the rest in the luggage.... Hmmm.... the one from QV is quite good. I am a convert now. Sorry Vaseline, will use you for other stuff. LOL
After that we went for spin and then to watch AFL! I was pretty excited about it cos I heard its quite a fun thing to watch. Plus... well, the gear does much good to show off the goods. It was Geelung Vs... Colling... TB decided he would support Geelung (not sure if that's how you spell it)... so by default I had to root for the other team. It took me 2 matches to figure out how they play and how the scores were kept. The stadium was packed! The team I supported (by default) won. Haha, much to my delight.. it was fun to see TB's reaction whenever they score... he was really rooting like a groupie! And it's his 1st time watching! LOL.
Then we had KFC. Yes yes I know... we were hungry and cold and kinda got lost! Then the tram home.
But as I sat there... with a packed stadium...cheers around me... and taking in the game... I suddenly felt... (blank) I am very happy. I am having fun. And when I turned to look at TB.
Well, he's just TB.

I must admit, I am not one who is into nitty gritty. Whilst the previous one would read the lonely planet and sort things out, I was always busy taking in scenery/sound and making mental notes of how a certain place has an effect on me. Hence, I travel well... I think... with Type A. TB is kinda like a Type A. He prob knows what is happening at 10am on Wed. Me? I know I need to sleep tonight.
TB is funny in an adorable kinda way. He sets an alarm. (But...we're on a holiday!) He nudges me when I snore (apparently I did... sometimes I do when I am tired). I told him he should just wake me up and ask me to sleep on the couch or something. Snoring is something quite intorelable if you ask me. If I do snore, I respect the fact that it's better off I sleep elsewhere.
