Dan

It's been a while since Dan Shephard's been around this many people, but that's okay. He can deal with that. Reminds him of college, a little. The aliens're kind of a change of pace, but they seem like all right folks as far as he can tell, so hey, live and let live. Overall it's not too bad up here. It's not home, but it's not too bad.

He hasn't had a chance to talk properly with Ms. Vance yet other than to hand over a written deposition about his trip up from Rowlesburg. She and Dr. Freeman (he still can't believe that- who knew the guy was real? Let alone alive and present?) kinda had their hands full when they got back, so he figured he'd talk to her once she was available. In the meantime he's doing what he can around the base. He's not an electronics man, and he's not much good with metal in general, but there's a double-dozen other ways this place could use some extra upkeep and attention. It keeps him busy, it keeps spirits up, and it gives him a chance to get an idea how folks're doing in general without being intrusive or sticking out too much. Makes fitting in easier, is how he sees it. He'll see about finding Ms. Vance again later, maybe. Got some furniture to work on sprucing up just now.
