Good Work
A good portion of my job involves taking dictation from a digital recorder, making sense of it, and creating incident reports. At times the Troops forget to turn the recorder off when they are finished. Today was one such time. I got to overhear a couple troops complimenting my work. It's made my day.
This morning I took a different route this morning and there's a place where cars tend to bottleneck. I was pulled over by campus police for following closely. I was polite, honest, and answered her questions. When the officer learned I work for the State Police (she asked, I didn't put that out there for my benefit) she said she wouldn't run me in the system because she didn't want my coworkers poking fun at me when I walked in late. She just wrote down my info and let me go.
