Thanksgiving / I'm A Loser
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it! This year I'm thankful for friends and family who are pregnant. I get to live vicariously through them while we work toward financial stability and the stories of extreme heartburn, dizziness, vomiting, and nausea prevent me from having delusions of a glorious pregnancy and birth. Thanks for keepin' it real!
I'm losing weight again. It's going well, slow and steady. I'm back to my lowest in 4-1/2 years, which isn't saying much, but it's progress.
I need a hair cut. It's unfortunate that the salon I prefer is 440 miles away and will cost me far more than I think is reasonable. But, given that I usually have only one haircut a year, it's worth it to me and is quite the occasion. I'd probably cut my hair more frequently if my hair didn't grow so fast. My cuts grows out so quickly that it begins to feel like, what's the point? I could have a cute hairstyle one week, and then a week later it's already looking long.
