here we are! mlle w and i on the roof terrace of our favorite chambre d'hote after a mighty fine meal and several glasses of mighty fine wine. and after our adventures with a giant rhinoceros beetle that decided to pay us a little visit. i think she (mlle w) has pictures of the beetle. if i can manage it, i'll try to snag one or two and post them. he was a lovely guest. the place is a lovely place. mlle w was a wonderful visitor. everything was, predictably, perfect!
