today at work, like every day, all of the guys in my crew listen to rap at full blast. with the radio show i like in my headphones on commercial, i ended up hearing some of this ridiculousness. it was pparently a diss track but in reality was just a guy TALKING over a beat, insulting another rapper. not even rapping, flowing, rhyming, no emotion, just talking. and the one thing that stuck out (other than nigga 6,000,000 times in 30 seconds) was that he called the other rapper broke.
and this made me think...who the fuck has the audacity to try insulting a guy for being broke when the only thing you do to make money is rhyme about ignorant bullshit such as rims, cars, bitches, drugs, etc. you all know the shit rappers go on about. youre an ignorant piece of shit who contributes nothing to the world, not even entertainment which became obvious as all the guys in my crew at work that were 'listening' didnt even think it was good (and they "know eeeeeeeeeverything" about rap and whats good/bad, of course.). so some stupid fuck who probably didnt graduate high school because he was too lazy to something about anything other than talk into a fucking microphone about nothing doesnt deserve money, and has no grounds for insulting anyone, EVER. end of discussion.
as for you and i...its an interesting feeling knowing no one really cares about what you do, how you feel, what your goals are or aspirations are in life, yet they all are still "friends". its more like, we accompany each other in social activities we have in common. i.e. shows, bands, going to movies, hanging out, sex, etc. but it becomes more apparent daily that not many of you really CARE about me, and i dont CARE about a lot of you, as i have tried and gotten nothing in return.
and i thought i had deleted everyone i didnt care about. damn. so...what does this say about friendship then? anyone?
