What have I missed

Sometimes you don't know what you have missed until you have a little taste of it again. My such good friend came back into town from Mackinaw Island yesterday and I was so excited to see her. She called me while she was waiting for the boat back to the mainland and told me she was heading back to saginaw for the night. AHHH!!! I told her we surely had to get together when she got home and just chill and talk. So around 8:30 last night we met at Crumbs. This is so sentimental for her and I. Whenever we need to talk about the details of our lives we meet there and completely spill our lives over yummy coffee and chai. And we did that exactly last night. Then after we headed over to Pastor Murphs and hung out there for almost 4 hours. We talked to Minister Patsy about so much and completely had a girl fest with our topics of conversation. (I love this woman. I talk to her about everything in my life. She knows more than anyone about me)Later on we all said our good-byes and headed home. But Christie didn't have a key to her house so she crashed at my place, but instead of sleeping we continued are releasing of details from Crumbs. We talked about so much and completely let things come out. I realized how much I missed having someone to talk to. The whole time she's been gone I just went through my days. But after spending some quality hours with her I understood how much I need someone to be there for me, to actually be there for me. To listen to my struggles and problems and hopes and dreams. Sounds so girlie and stupid but it's true. I can't wait for her to come home and to actually have a girl to talk to again!!!
