I feel like I'm back on Serenity. There's a constant buzzing and humming here in the hall that reminds me of the engines Kaylee always takes care of. I think I will sleep well tonight. Though the smell of a fire is a little discerning. Fire in the engine room in the Black is a very. very. bad thing.
Though, it would be nice if the lights stayed on for more than three minutes at a time.
I'm only a couple rooms down from the Sarracenia dream, and I plan to visit him soon. It has been a while since I have and a friend of his wants to meet me. I keep thinking of light when I hear mention of this friend. Like lasers.
I like the wood in my room. Strong and thick. I've never lived in a place where the walls were made of logs like this. Or a place made of logs at all! Everything's all fibreglass and polymers. It's a nice change.
My roommate is the undead dream. Gale. We spoke once, so I wonder when we will see each other in person.
