Yes. Besides, the Hat would probably want to make you a Hufflepuff and then you would have probably sat near me and I would have ended up with mashed potatoes in my hair too.

It's not their fault. Perhaps you should think about disliking Creevey, for he was the one that threw them. The potatoes didn't just up and launch themselves at your head.
