A record player is a muggle device. From what I can see of Arthur's, you put plates on it and it plays music. The sort of lovely music I haven't heard in years, honestly, but it's so loud.

Ours seems to be a bit stuffed up at the moment, though.

Alice had long blonde hair that reached to her shoulders and in the sunlight it was pale and it blew about in the wind as she skated on the lake in winter and then in summer when she swam it stuck to her face and she laughed and pushed it out of her eyes and it dripped all over the common room floor before she thought to use a Drying Charm and her eyes always sparkled and it always seemed like she was laughing at you even if she was trying to beat your head in with a hardcover copy of 'Alice in Wonderland' because you accidentally walked in on her getting changed or something like that ( ... )
