Laura Roslin needs YOU!
We're holding another Ship War over at bsg_epics. It's a four day battle to see which ship can produce the most ficlets within the time limit - the prize being two days of posts devoted entirely to that ship next week on the comm. There will be small individual prizes awarded as well.
The rules are all laid out in the post above, but the basics are that you write and post as many shippy ficlets of at least 100 words as you can to support your ship. The war ends at 10pm GMT on Sunday.
Currently, our girl is not being represented nearly enough! We all know that Laura is the bestest ( ;) ) and that you can ship her with everyone, so whatever your Laura-ship of choice is, come down and represent it with a few ficlets, and let's show 'em all!
It's all good fun. I've just seen it described on Tumblr by lls_mutant as like a snowball fight - "we hurl ficlets at each other, don’t bother much about defense, and form alliances willy-nilly, and in the end it sort of peters out and everyone stands around laughing about how much fun it was ". So no need to be concerned about real ship wars happening. Just come along and have a giggle and hopefully we'll get a ton of new Laura-focused ficlets out of it, if nothing else.
