Per the pediatrician's orders, we recorded Devon's visits to the bathroom all weekend. Yesterday, we restricted his intake to 24oz of liquid for the entire day. His visits lessened but were still well above the normal range.

After school, I have to take him get more blood drawn. They are looking for an imbalance of potassium, electrolytes, and/or other things. She is also scheduling an MRI and a referral to a urologist.

All of this is happening now that we no longer have insurance.
(It has also happened now that we have, for awhile, walked the beautiful debt-free line. Universal rule #1: Life is never good for long)

We were looking into private insurance, but anything we do now will not cover this because it will be pre-existing. We took too long picking a plan and now we have to pay. I just love the American health care system. Not to get all political all of a sudden, but if we were illegals, lack of insurance wouldn't be a problem. I'd laugh at the bitter unfairness of it but my throat is closing up and my eyes are watering.
