(no subject)
This heat is ridiculous.
All summer so far we've slept with the fans in the windows blowing air into the house and it has cooled us off. As of a few nights ago, this stopped working so well and we just end up wet from the humidity and sweat. AWESOME.
I hang the clothes to dry here and they're done within an hour.
Almost faster than a electric/gas dryer.
The tile floor isn't even doing it's job of keeping my feet cool anymore.
Our pear tree went fucking nuts this year and we've got, I swear to god, probably 500 pears.
I want to bake, but I can't because I would just die.
That and the crust of the pies are conspiring against me.
I'll try a cake or muffins. I hope it works.
All I can say is that I'm happy I don't live in Georgia.
It's always worse there.
