Fun Fun Movie Time: Sunday Horror Edition: Okay, I watched two more movies today: The Fog and Cabin Fever. Both were quite good. The Fog was an entertaining old school horror movie. Why can't John Carpenter make more movies like this nowadays? They're just fun, and his music always creates a wonderfully creepy atmosphere.
Rating: 8/10.
Cabin Fever was a throw back to old school horror movies. It was great. It wasn't really scary, and there could've been more gore, but it was a good example of how new horror movies can feel like the classics without having to be remakes. Take similar ideas and make them your own, don't take complete works and try to make them your own.
It was really funny too. The old man and the rifle, haha, I so didn't see that coming.
