As you can see in the statistics, Sage Rosenfels did not play again this week. And the Texans lost. No argument to be made there, just pointing that out. David Carr had a decent game, but once again turnovers did the Texans in (though this time Carr wasn't directly responsible). Young and Bush didn't have their best weeks, and while the Titans lost because of it, the Saints won in spite of it. And before people start pointing to Young's off-week as evidence the Texans made the right QB choice, let's just see if he still has those kinds of games 4 years from now, as David Carr does.

Consulting the 2006 Houston Texans Schedule on my Coke can here, it's not out of the realm of possibility that the Texans go 2-14 again this season. At best, they'll be 4-12. Is that an improvement? Technically yes, that would be doubling their win total of last season. What a great football city we have here.

PS. Attention Texas A&M: The 12th Man is supposed to be in the stands.
