Aaaaand *wibbles*. Here’s another true story for you: I’ve become jaded. Not a lot of people can write Lindsey and make me feel it anymore, because I’m usually just sitting there thinking, “Okay, now how would my rpg-Lindsey have said that?” and making all manner of comparisons. But his little speech there, with the choking up and the glass throwing, that was perfect. I felt that, alright.
“Things were fine.”
“They were lies.”
Gah. That about sums up the difference between those two perfectly, doesn’t it? And the last line made me squeak with glee again, because… yes. They could do that. They could definitely do that. *makes memo to tag over there pronto*
Lindsey/Spike - Second Best
Three cheers for drunken Spike-musings! Especially the fact that he’s thinking about ‘human nature’ without any note of irony. *g* Fun prickly back-and-forth, a twist on the canon meeting that’s just different enough to make it neat.
But those last two paragraphs… mwuahaha! Those just sold it for me! Because it’s true, so damn true, and Lindsey’s about to turn around and do the exact same thing to Spike again. Using the Darla disaster as a tool to win over Spike because he can’t get to Angel directly… twisty mess! Love it!
Lindsey/Angelus - Blissfully Numb
I’m such a sucker for L/A as inevitable. But then, I’m a pathetic fangirl like that…

Oh man. I went ‘eep’ out loud. In complete spite of the pairing you put it under… I totally went ‘eep’. You win.
Gah. The use of Holland’s dialogue there was perfect. Creepily perfect.
This may look like a shorter comment, but that’s only because you didn’t get to experience the ‘eep’ing and flappy-hands and mad scrolling that took place. X-D Wowzers. I think I just stumbled across another one that begs to be continued!
