I'm baffled. Truly baffled. Never in my full life have I ever witnessed this.
I spent my time mostly in the back of a wagon getting here. Then slunk away in the cover of night. Right after a quick change out of the children's cloths I had wore for almost a fort night. I walked the entire day. I figured I could rest when I got to the city. I saw a rabbit dart across the road on my way. I pulled out my sling. As quickly as it happened I was eating rabbit stew. A fresh meal was much better then the slop they cooked on the trail. On my arrival I noticed something was out of place. A lot of farms were silent. No one was around to be found. I thought it was just a fluke. Maybe the town was doing a large celebration. I reached the putter wall of the city. I was planning on just sleeping under the stars, but everything was way too quiet. I entered the city. I couldn't tell if I was delirious or if it was the truth. There were common folk frozen, rather, still in place. Stuck doing whatever it was when they were struck with the condition. I retreated to a home where I thought I would be safe. I blockaded myself in and kept myself aware. Now, I will try and sleep.
