so!
I now have a this:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/60/1st_Ford_Festiva.jpg/800px-1st_Ford_Festiva.jpg (looks almost exactly the same too...)
It scoots, is adorable, gets amazing-incredible-super-fabulous gas mileage. (I've already tried to fill it twice and been insanely surprised when it would only take like, 4-6 gallons. D:) ((out of ten! w00t!))
So, with a fierce 89 horses under the hood, I've been zipping around town in the adora-mobile, clearing the way on 12 inch rims and 1 inch speakers, and I couldn't be happier! My only complaints are the lack of AC, (which I will grumble about and get to fixing eventually) and the fact the seat belts (which should, but..) don't move (which I'm getting very close to solving...silly seatbelts.)
I've been very impressed by the car in many respects.
To be honest, it's been sitting around in my fathers garage for what must be 7 or 8 years. The first thing, after a new engine was acquired, that I looked into was the tires, and to my intense surprise, there was no cupping, and no dry rot! o.O!!
A sort of strange grinding noise is coming from all four tires, I'm sure there are some bad bearings or rusty rotors, but the car, by-and by has been nothing short of a blast. :D Everyone should have a festiva! So much fun packed into such an amazing car! You should also look at this festiva commercial:

Anyone know french? I'm totally curious about what it says.
(I think I obsess about stuff way too quickly, but why not be happy about stuff, ne?)
