... It's me. That wasn't a portkey, either.

I would say that you sound surprisingly mature, but it would be stating a bit of the obvious at this point, wouldn't it?

Hermione gave me the where. Curiously, she hasn't given me the how yet.

It would be, and you sound rather the same, though ...

[there's a pause]

We don't know the how. Not for sure. Beings who call themselves the Deities are in charge, and we follow their whims.

Sounding rather the same is one thing men my age are remarkably good at.

I don't much like a mystery with the sounds of this one. It sounds unpredictable. Has everything been alright here for you, Harry? No major troubles?

I think it's impossible to find the troubles here that we have back home, but that might be because there's little to do.

No troubles, though.

Good that there's little to do here. You shouldn't go borrowing trouble in a strange place anyway, Harry.

They give enough, though. Curses, and people showing up from different points in time, and things like that.

And there aren't counterspells to the curses. It's just a mess, and we can't do anything about it.

The curses were just mentioned. That, I'm sure you're aware, is an area of interest for me. I would like to know more if you get the time to have a talk with me soon, Harry.

It's all curious.

I'd like that.

How much do you want to know? About anything? Or would you rather be kept in the dark?

I'd like that as well.

I leave that to your discretion. It isn't my right to demand information of that nature from you or anyone else. Especially not from you.

There's a lot that happens, and I guess you could say I'm a lot farther than anyone else.

The whole of it-I'd rather leave it up to you to decide. Please, don't make me.

Sounds like quite the burden on your shoulders, Harry.

Let me consider your offer? There are better things to discuss. Present things. Also things such as how much I've missed seeing your face.

I wouldn't call it a burden, really. It could be worse.

My face has changed a bit. Older. It should be surprising, or maybe not. You did see my father grow up.

It could be better.

I watched your mother grow up, as well. That doesn't mean that I don't want to do the same for you. I'm sure that Sirius shares my feelings. No doubt even more than myself.

Either way, I almost look forward to the shock.
