What's going on--

[ There is a cottage in the woods and Remus John Lupin lives in it, but usually he's quite a lot older than seventeen and usually he's comfortably in bed by now, but this one stumbles noisily out of his closet dressed only in a pair of worn white and blue striped boxers and a very worn, slightly dirty wool blanket ( Read more... )

Do put some clothes on, Lupin.

[ooc: Lucius would have been in 5th year when Remus was in first. just in case that info would be useful. >>;]

I've got some, now. Weasley loaned them to me. Ron. It was very big of him, especially given I was rude on accident to his sister.

Everyone knows my name. You're a wizard?

[ooc: ahaha, Remus remembers well, unfortunately. As Snape used to creep around with him and his juju. ]

Strange that he would have extras to loan out.

Draco Malfoy.

[ooc: the slytherins were hardcore back in the day.]

Now you're making me feel all guilty. I didn't know Ron was hard-up. Although supposing it was his choice to loan them, apparently he thought I needed them more, even if that's true.

Malfoy?

[ see now, he's starting to catch on. if the weasleys are the children of his seniors... ]

Related to Lucius Malfoy?

Well, I don't know about here, but he is a Weasley. But we should be thankful you are at least clothed, I suppose, and I'm sure they're of the quality you're used to.

My father.

They cover me and they keep me warm, don't they?

I wouldn't have figured Lucius for the settling down type considering everything going on at the moment. But I guess that I should say congratulations on existing, Draco. Do you go to Hogwarts?

If that's all you look for in a set of robes then by all means.

My mother is Narcissa Black and regardless of what you may think, my parents love each other very much. I do go to Hogwarts, unfortunately. Slytherin, of course.

It is, really.

Not what I meant to suggest. I'm not trying to start an argument with you especially when they tell me I could only be here until midnight. I wouldn't question something like that. All as I meant was that he always seemed peerlessly ambitious, but then he was a Slytherin. And so's his boy apparently!

And a Malfoy marrying a Black doesn't seem ambitious to you?

It didn't occur to me. Mostly because they may be Blacks but they are also individuals.

Though that doesn't really say much about Lucius, does it. I'm just being defensive. Anyway, Narcissa isn't all bad except for when she is a bit.

Are you sure you weren't a Hufflepuff, Lupin?

I'm a Gryffindor and so are all of my good friends. There's no weren't about it. Just an is. Or an am.

But there's nothing wrong with Hufflepuff, either. Or Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

Yes, of course.

What about it, Lupin?

It's either a bit old-fashioned or a bit nouveau, isn't it? I can't get a total grip on this place to tell which.

But only a bit.
