No computer. T_T

So apparently it's not just my harddrive that is the problem and I have to get a new computer. Not sure when that will happen. Just wanted to write a quick note to share the news. I'm using my school computers every couple of days to check email and stuff.

I know. You should check out the rest of the post (linked above). Not quite as mesmerizing as Shatner/Pine Kirk, but kinda awesome none-the-less.

That is an awesome manip! GUH!

And what horrible news about your computer! :-( I hope you had most everything on your external harddrive. Let me know if there are any files that I have that you need once you have a new computer. *hugs*

Isn't it? I thought it would be good bribery for time spent reading about my failed computer. Unfortunately, I think most of my documents and stuff were lost, which really sucks. I'm trying to get class stuff from classmates but we'll see. (Not that I need most of it, but I really want it.) I have my old computer and am hoping that all of the data on the HD isn't actually lost and that I might be able to get it transferred. I just don't want to have to pay $100 for BB to do it, so we'll see.

This has definitely taught me the importance of backing up my stuff.

I think it'll be a while before I get a new computer, since I have no money of my own atm. We'll see. I miss my computer. :(

Oh, honey, that is just tragic! *hugs tight*

Does your old computer work? Is that a desk top? I seem to remember seeing a desk top at your place, but I might be imagining that...

By old computer I mean my laptop that just broke. I do have an ancient (okay not quite ancient, but around 10 years old) desktop at home, but I'm not having it shipped up here. I'm just relying on public (aka school) computers for now.
