Holy fuck ACL was exhausting.
I can't really breathe and my skin hurts, but at least my snot isn't black anymore. I've finally seen Coldplay, and I see U2 in month. I still need to see Radiohead, R.E.M. and the Chemical Brothers before I die. Anyway, lifetime goals aside I'd have to say that ruining my health for the next week was completely worth it. M83 and Arcade Fire were the best shows of the day. Aside from Coldplay, I think Arcade Fire took the cake as the best performance. I managed to listen to the entire Riloy Kiley set [that stage was fucking loud] and also see Ambulance Ltd., Kaiser Chiefs, Eisley, and Franz Ferdinand. All of them were quite good. Totally skipped Decemberists and don't care. I'm still shocked that I know someone who actually skipped Oasis to the them play on Saturday. This despite the fact that they played twice at ACL. Shit, I'd at least go to see Oasis just so i could be like "oh yeah, I've seen Oasis." Damn pretentious pirate wannabe decemberists fans. Like damn lemmings or something. And to think that just one day of ACL nearly killed me. 108 degrees on september 25th. Wtf. Stupid hurricanes. I blame global warming. And Bush hating black people.
