Something out of the ordinary
I was browsing through my Friend's Page when i stumbled upon magnetic_rose's post about the christmas wishlist thing. (post is here.) Anyway, it kinda inspired me into making my own wishlist.
Step one: make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. the post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes.
The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("i'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("i wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all i want for christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). the important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
step two: surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list.
here's the important part -- if you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it.
you need not spend money on these wishes unless you want to. the point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.
there are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. give, and you might receive. and you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
My Wishlist
1. An original/pirated copy of RENT's Soundtrack.
It costs 450php, at any Music Shop. I've been dying to hear the whooole soundtrack but i can't seem to get my hands on them. (or maybe I'm just to busy or lazy to actually look for it and download it) Plus i've watched the movie ohsomany times. hahaha, I lil' more and i'll prolly remember their lines. :) with my eyes close. -- well not really but you get the idea. XD
2. Earrings
I like Small Plain silver hoop earrings, but it can be small plastic animal stud earrings.
3. A white Mizuno Judogi
....*_* *shine*
4. An icon
Of Me, anything holiday-ish, either one of these things: Gomes the Hitman, Ouran High Host Club, RENT, QAF, Penguins, Deathnote ...or It can be about Food, Flowers or Places. I really like receiving icons from different people.
5. A text message
Seasons greetings or funny, dramatic, corny, sad qoutes. Just as long as they are NOT chain text messages. ^^;
6. I would like UE Four Aces to win the upcoming Team Tournament.
This November 25 and 26.. It's not near christmas but it's an early present that i'm really wishing for.
7. Time with my Family
Everybody is sooo damn busy. That i think christmas would just pass by.
8. Time with my Friends
Christmas party uli? :D
9. A Ovangkol Thumb warwick bass guitar
I'm still not over it. I still want to play bass.
10. An Internal Frame BackPack
An Altitude Montanara Mountaineer Backpack (Here it is) I'm just giving ideas.. XD

My appetite still hasn't changed, the more i eat, the more i get sick. I hate it. I got beaten up easily in training a few hours ago. But good news is.. they moved the team tourney thing on November 25 and 26. So I'll be able to go to TOEI con. BIG yey!
I got my sched for this 2nd sem. It looks okay. I can handle it but the sad thing about it is my NSTP thing, it'll probably clash with UEM training. shet. ~_~
