Tyler's Realization of 3/24/08
first things first... i'm up to 5 people who seem to keep up with LJ and that's good enuf for me to keep writing so here we go..
Not really mad for this one...so it just a "realization"...not a "ramblin"
I realized today during an intense softball match (yes, that's right) that the world is just TOOOOOOO angry.
Am i a sarcastic bastard? yes.
do i like to flaunt it? oh yes.
but for the sheer fact that when 4 individual teenagers "OOOO" when a certain...obnoxious catcher on the other team pops out... causes another member of her team to yell "OH WHAT YOU YELL AT HER CUZ SHE'S A GIRL? SHUT THE FUCK UP OR I'LL KICK YOUR ASS"... I mean come on...it's a little much. where is the love?
Now before you think that we were just being annoying by "OOO"ing this ..wench.. you first must understand the situation.
Our team was down 10 to 1 entering the bottom of the inning. They began jacking around with the team, thinking that they had the game won. We had a full lineup + 1...so we rotated a girl in after Jeff and before Kendra. There was no problem with this when we were down 10-1. But here's where the fun starts...
We score 8 runs in one inning..making the score 10-9. We sub in Lori (the extra girl) in before Kendra. She gets a base hit...advancing to 2nd and also there was a runner on 3rd. Kendra comes up and hits a single...bringing in a run. The catcher then begins running her mouth off about how we broke the rules and that we must alternate batters...the umpire agrees with her..and we get called OUT! i couldn't believe it.
Now..i'm only a spectator at these games..but i know a horrible call when i see it... so i, of course, begin yelling about the call..saying it's horrible, stupid, but NEVER ONCE cussing. The catcher turns and looks at me and says to me "and that's why youre watching the game behind a fence"
-_- keep in mind..this is a volunteer softball league. totally uncalled for in every way...and it go out of hand later on. over a softball game. come on people. no peace on earth anymore?
anyone else got any stories about someone bursting out on them like this for no reason? how'd u feel about it?
