1. What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before? I spent New Year's Eve at a nice hotel in San Francisco with parents after clubbing in SF. Then we went to see Twin Peaks for the first time. I went to Medieval Times for friend's birthday dinner. I had lots of interviews including notable companies like Variety. Went to Vegas, made out with two different foreign guys in one night (one Australian and one British). In March I finally got another job offer that seemed great. My birthday was my last day at my old job. My parents came to visit and we went to Catalina Island for the first time. Drove to Big Sur with friends for a camping trip. In June, my car got broken into for the first time. :( I found out the job was terrible three months later when I got laid off. :( But I did make my first official best gay friend/work husband there. So then I tapped into my networking skills to find my current job in Santa Monica. Now I commute 23 miles or so but I'm so much happier. I work in a shared space with a bunch of Brazilian people. We have very interesting clients, like tobacco, hookah, sports betting apps and rehab centers. Our company holiday party was at a beach penthouse with homemade pizza and drinks.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Due to some unfortunate mishaps like transitioning jobs I have gained back a lot of weight which I need to lose again. I just found out that the new government health care does not allow for dental or vision insurance so I guess that means I should keep trying to find a job that does. I would like to actually take classes as I keep promising myself to. Be more careful with my money. Travel as much as I can. Keep reading and watching. Date men with confidence in myself and my worth. Desperately need to move so I can get my life back. I want to get another indoor cat when I do. I also donated to a Kickstarter for the Veronica Mars movie!

Something about recovery? Not big on this.
Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
