So there is only one thing wrong with Chinese food, and that is that the majority of the time you don't actually know what the food is.

One time I was sitting at the dinner table and I ate this meat which looked and tasted just like pork. It was so delicious and I kept eating piece after piece. I finally decided to ask what it was, and my dad told my mom not to tell me. My mom told me anyways. It was pig's ear. And after I found that out I wouldn't eat it anymore.

Then we were at this restaurant and we saw all this delicious food on the table, this is what it comprised of. eel, duck's tongue, duck liver, duck foot (with the webbing), raw crab, friend ice cream, shellfish, cucumber, and other such items.
Then this really delicious soup came and I took some. I asked my mom what it was and she looked at it and said it was seafood soup with little pieces of seaweed in it. It was so good and I ate three bowls of it. On my third bowl I looked more carefully in the bowl and I looked at the seaweed. All of the pieces looked EXACTLY like little worms. I looked at my mom and asked her if she was sure it wasn't actually worms. She just looked at me and shrugged. and from then on my stomach couldn't handle it.

I think it's quite weird that if you don't know what something is and it tastes good you keep eating it, yet when I finally find out what it is and it disgusts me in some way and makes my stomach turn, I won't eat it anymore. Mind over Stomach?
