Today is a good day. First The Goonies was on and now When Harry Met Sally. <3

Ummm yeah so I definitely sold out and got the new sponsored version of LJ. If ads really bothered me I would not be on MySpace as much as I am.

Anyway, recap time for the past week or so:

  • Last Friday: The beginning of my Easter break. Cathy had her (second) birthday dinnerand that was a good time. Got to see a few people I haven't seen in FOR-E-VER.
  • Last Saturday: Drove around with Sophie and LAUREN. Drove all the way to Carlinville, actually, stopping at every other gas station along the way in search for a working slushie machine for Sophie. Going through towns like Virden and seeing people hanging out in a gas station on a Saturday night really makes me appreciate living in Springfield.
  • Last Sunday: Sophie and Janie came over and we watched the movie Junebug, which we all adored. I recommend it.
  • Monday: Last day of Easter break. Diiiiid nothing.
  • Tuesday: Stupid class.
  • Wednesday: Stupid class. Went to Priscilla's (where fun and fantasy meet) with Janie, Sophie and Caroline. I don't really mind going in there, until the weird old men come in alone and stare at the porn. An older man came in that night, but instead of looking at the porn he went straight to the hooker shoes. o_O Then we went to Steak 'n' Shake.
  • Thursday: Stupid class. Drove to Springfield to hang out with Eric (See? I mentioned you.), who was 20 MINUTES LATE. Drove around for a couple hours. Lots of good conversation. Fun times.
  • Friday: Stupid class. Drove Laura to the train station in Springfield (Obviously, I can't stay away!). Didn't really do much after that unless you count talking to someone online until 4 in the morning. *ahem*
  • Yesterday: Jared came over. We didn't really have anything to do so we drove around for a while; he made ME drive, of course. Then we came back and watched Return to Oz. Oooh that movie. "Your majesty, she has a... CHICKEN with her!"
  • Today: Continued our search for a new house. House-shopping is definitely one of the most annoying things ever.

  • We've looked at 10-15 houses (maybe?) in the past couple weeks and so far there's only been one that my mom is really crazy about. This one:

Shitty picture, but it's the only one I have of the front. I will only be happy with that house if I can have the basement room because:
    1. I don't want to be on the same floor (let alone down the hall from) my parents.
    2. It's a walk-out basement so I'd be able to come and go quietly.
    3. The bathroom in the basement has a freakin' hot tub.
    4. The other bedrooms are each half the size of my dorm room.
    5. I'm a brat.

There's a house in that neighborhood that has a pool in the basement. I want to become friends with the people in that house.
