[Every time Germany visits that verdammt meat shop and tries to buy his verdammt sausage links from that verdammt British clerk... Thank god he at least has one of his favorite kinds of cuisine to look forward to after the ordeal of listening to endless prattling on "what goes inside of sausages". Of course he knows such a thing! He serves up dinner ( Read more... )

[Just hanging around outside of Germany's house like a fucking creeper A CARING AND PROTECTIVE OLDER BROTHER when he spots the blond boy walking around. Weird, he's pretty sure both of Germany's kids are girls, maybe one of them got replaced? Coming forward to take a closer look . . . hang on, there's something really familiar about this kid . . .]

[Okay. Okay, that's . . . definitely Germany, Prussia might be kind of thick, but he's not dumb enough to forget what his own little brother used to look like, and oh god, what is going on right now. Was this a temporary thing, or did Mayfield replace the older Germany that was here with this one? Shit, he's going to have his hands full protecting his baby brother if it's the latter, he needs to buy so many more rifles and guarddogs and possibly a castle if that's the case, maybe steal Russia's tank again --]

[. . . goddamn, Prussia's forgotten how cute his little brother used to be. Just going to be making a muffled noise that is nothing like a squeal okay into his fists here.]

[After about a minute of internal flailing - oh god so cute so cute shit how do I burn down this town and everything in it so I don't have to see him cry so cute - he finally approaches Ludwig.]

. . . hey! Wouldn't happen to be looking for your awesome big bro, huh?

[Such a cool entrance]

[Turns and stares with petrified big blue little kid eyes.] ...!!

[Balling widdle hands into fists and W-WALKING BRISKLY UP TO YOU so we can punch you - okay so maybe it's more like a clingy hug around Prussia's legs, once he gets there.]

W-where... Where did you bring us? Why did you leave me there? Stupid..!

[Hnnngh, cute. He kneels down so he's at eye-level with Ludwig, ruffling his hair affectionately.]

Hey now, this isn't my fault! I wouldn't leave you anywhere except at home, safe and sound! It's this fu--freaking town, it's got a mind of its own. Gonna kick their ass soon though, so don't worry!

[S-SNIFF. Just...gotta rub our nose a little, NO TEARS (n-now, anyway; he cried a little earlier), and he pulls away to look up with a red face and check to see if you are lying just to make him feel better.

...Okay, feeling better, seeing that smile.]

Then, what happened? Is this a new territory your boss wants, Bruder?

The houses are strange.

[A-awwww. As proud as Prussia is of how strong his brother eventually gets, he has to admit that he's missed this side of Germany, too. He brushes a thumb roughly across Ludwig's cheek, wiping away the remaining tear tracks.]

Ah...not exactly. It's complicated. Well, not really, since I'm gonna wind up conquering it anyway, but we're in America's house. Sorta. Look, just stick by me, yeah? I'll take care of you!

[Squinting as his babby cheeks are wiped, getting a little redder in the face just from embarrassment that he'd forgotten to clean up evidence of crying!! W-whatever, gonna inch a bit closer and hold onto the front of your shirt.]

...Okay. [If you say so, then he'll suck it up. For now. He thought he saw a person with green fur in that house--]

A-America?

All the way across the ocean? You mean England's old colonies that broke off? We're there? This is America? [HE'S

[He has to grin at Ludwig's excitement - it's rare to see Germany get even halfway that level of enthusiasm, grumpy thing that he is.]

Yup! Not nearly as cool as our house, of course, but America's not too bad. It's not really his house, but whatever. Anyway, you up for exploring?

[It's scary but exciting, and i-if Bruder is here then maybe it'll be okay..

Totally clueless how much the excitement is showing, btw.]

I would like to.

[He's been wondering about a lot of all those weird things in front of the houses, and why are the streets so rock-hard and smooth, and and and]

That's my little bro! You should always find out as much as you can about a new land - that way, it'll be easier to conquer!

[Picking up Ludwig and swinging him onto his shoulders, oh gosh he's missed doing this]

First stop's my house. Gotta pick up a camera!

[s-secretly loves this, clinging to your hair once he's up there, also smiling while you're not looking . . .] Ja. I understand, Bruder.

A camera...? What are you going to photograph?

[Not-so-secretly loves this, too! Tra la la la happily skipping to his house now.]

Who do you think? What else am I going to want pictures of, other than my adorable baby brother?
