The offer on the house was accepted, and we should be able to move in before Christmas, which makes Potter absurdly happy. There is the requisite swing set and slide in the yard for Teddy, and a garage that can be converted into a lab. Speaking of Teddy, the adoption process is underway, and even if it isn't final before Christmas, it will be shortly thereafter. There is a sense of permanence to it all that frankly still amazes me, but I find myself happier than I have ever been. Now, if only we could agree on the color of paint for our bedroom. I refuse to sleep in a room so disgustingly bright.
