And in honor of the occasion, I have come up with some True Blood inspired cocktails.

Arterial Spritzer

For the hot summer days spent draining innocents.....

• 3 parts blood orange soda(True Blood brand if you think ahead, otherwise the Archer Farms Blood Orange Soda from Target)
• 1 part Sky Blood Orange infused Vodka
• Splash of Grenadine (optional)

File tall glass with ice. Fill three quarters full with blood orange soda. Fill to just below rim with Sky Blood Orange vodka. Add splash of grenadine for extra bloody look.

Vampire Bill's Bloody-tini

Because Bon Temps gayest vampire needs a drink from time to time......

• 2 parts Sky Blood Orange Vodka
• 1 part pomegranate martini mix
• Splash of Grenadine(optional)

Fill shaker with ice. Add two parts Sky Blood Orange vodka. Add 1 part pomegranate martini mix. For extra bloody look, add splash of Grenadine. Strain into martini glass.

Pam's Watermelon Margarita

Want to party with a three hundred year old fag hag?

• 2 Part Watermelon Pucker
• 1 Part Silver label tequila
• 1 Part Watermelon Vodka
• 2 part sour mix
• Splash of Grenadine(optional)

Rim margarita glass with watermelon flavoured rimming sugar. Fill margarita glass with ice. Fill shaker with ice. Add 2 parts Watermelon pucker, 1 part silver label tequila, 1 part watermelon vodka and 2 parts sour mix. For bloody look, add splash of grenadine. Shake well and strain into margarita glass.

Bloody Sookie

We all know Ms. Sookie is sweeter than that bitch Mary....

• 3 Parts Strawberry Banana V-8 Fruit Fusion(Acai Mixed Berry also works)
• 1 Part Sky Blood Orange Vodka
• Dash of Hot Sauce(she' s still a spicy piece)
• Splash of Grenadine(optional)
• Sugar cane

Fill tall glass with ice. Add V-8, Sky Blood Orange Vodka, dash of hot sauce and splash of grenadine. Stir with sugar cane.
