Okay, so, been living with Devin and his family for almost two weeks now. Looked for jobs the first week, found nothing. Seems everybody already has summer work. Since then, I've been helping his mom around the house, helping her with dinner, with yardwork, etc. Talked to USi about financial aid, they don't know more than I do. ha. Oh well.

As for New Zealand: Perhaps going to college there for a single year would be good? It sounds like an opportunity you may end up wishing you'd taken. You could work there, SAVE your money, and help pay off your bills. Provided that you're capable of getting your transcripts from an institution with which you have a debt outstanding. (or perhaps I read that wrong. No debts are good debts....we'll just pretend you don't have any for this.). Anyway, a year abroad, especially outside of the constricting womb of the Homeland could be just what you need to put your life in perspective and to have everything straight and ready.
Whatever you're going to do, make up your mind fast, and don't give up until you've reached your goal!
