current status (2.26.16): oh my fucking god where do I begin;
I'm honestly so overwhelmed by all the positive feedback I've received on my kissfanxing round 2 entry; like, I wasn't expecting it to gain as much traction as it did. I'm so grateful that so many people took the time to swim through that mess and come out with enough air on the other side to leave such nice comments on my work. I hadn't written in a while (the dry spell had reached 5 months when I had signed up), and kissfanxing was definitely something I did on a whim. But overall, despite all of the sleep I lost trying to finish it (only to be 11.5 days past the deadline) (no literally I submitted it during chinese class the morning of my exoluxion concert), participating in kissfanxing was a very positive experience for me, and I'm glad I made the choice to claim that day. It really gave me a boost in confidence in my writing that I desperately needed.
As it stands now, I don't have a lot of other works posted; I've ended up deleting or privating a lot of the things I was fiddling around with when I first started writing last summer. But, hopefully I will find the time to start writing again, seeing that timeboilsthechicken vs. kfx didn't turn out that terribly after all.
(Then again, I'm also contemplating just retiring now because there is no way in hell I am topping those bald jokes.)
