i had my last competition today and although hip hop and jazz won first place today it was kind of blah... i miss john burrows now that was fun ... umm i dont have much to talk about nothin new or interestin is goin on rite now ok ppl comment with either masquerade or not just out of curiiosity (if u know what im talkin about good if not just comment neway)

Innocent Eyes
I remember when I had innocent eyes,
When the world was viewed through innocent eyes.
I want my innocent eyes again,
I need my innocent eyes again,
To see a world of good again,
What happened to my innocent eyes?
I never wanted to lose them.
The eyes that let you talk to anyone,
Without out fear of pain, betrayal, or judgment,
Without having to realize that people don't care,
Without knowing that they don't want you there,
Without feeling like you are worthless.
I feel detached from my friends,
I feel close to them no longer,
And I don't know why I envy them so.
I suppose because they are able to be so close.
I suppose it's understandable that the situation is so,
Since I'm really not that great of a person,
...but nonetheless I'm still a person.
I really miss my innocent eyes, because through those eyes
I viewed myself as equal with those I envied.
I used to consider it as "We are all so very close,"
Not as "They are closer with her and it hurts."
I guess I will never get my innocent eyes back,
And I guess my hope was in vain,
For once the eyes are opened,
They can never be closed again.
...what do u think??? i know its crap and i still like my 'the voices' poem better... lol i would get a whole $2.11 for this poem eye-gor lol... but watch i probably counted wrong...
