This morning I paid a visit to the dentist. This was my first visit to this dentist, and I went to get my teeth cleaned and get x-rays done to see what was up with my wisdom teeth. I wasn't all that impressed with the staff there...I'm the kinda who is a serious pansy and likes the people there to be really really friendly. The hygenist was good though. Except everything she did was really uncomfortable. Because I have my wisdom teeth haunting me, my gums have been rather sensitive because of all the cramming of teeth and lack of space. Every time she stuck that little metal pick between my teeth, it felt like needles. Then there was the polishing which I called sandblasting. She hit my ulcer with that crap once...I bout came out the seat. And I still have to go back tomorrow morning to actually meet with the dentist. The x-ray machine was being repaired, so she told me to come back. And on top of all that, I always thought my teeth were rather healthy, and that I was doing a pretty good job of keeping them clean. Turns out I have these white areas on the bottom of some of my teeth that is tartar I guess. She just told me that if I didnt take better care of that, it would turn brown and become cavities. I had to go to Walmart and buy a fluoride mouthwash to use every night. THEN she says I might have some cavities, but the dentist will have to check that out tomorrow. *^$@!% Craziness. I think the dentist is just like the dermatologist. Every time I go for my yearly checkup, she finds some spot on my skin that needs to be removed because it looks "suspicious". Never has turned out to be cancer. True, better safe than sorry, but every time I'm there?!?! Being healthy is overrated.
When I first got to Walmart, gas was $2.36. When I came out like 20 mins later, it was $2.45. Going to look into that gas bank loan.....
Oh yeah. Last night I did go to my church to see The Afters in concert. That was my first time hearing them, and I really enjoyed it. Most of the people there were either 14-16, or adults, but I still enjoyed the music. Bought the CD for $10. I recommend it to anyone. Sorry you couldnt be there Patrick!
Now to go try and enjoy my last school free, work free week. Maybe all the boredom will prepare me for next week.
