Wow, life has really been exciting. Ive only been here a month and have done so much. I arrived here wednesday May 25th. I arrived in the morning and couldnt go to bed so after my 15 hours of driving visited as many people as i could and went to college church group. The rest of the week was a blur of hanging out with my much missed friends. There are more that i need to meet up with still, but things have been a craze. A week later on wednesday i was on a road trip to Oklahoma with my friends Ben, Teresa, and Chris. We met up with the rest of Ben's family in Oklahoma to gather for the Bootcamp graduation of our good friend Anthony (fish). That was quite an experience to see what a good man fish is becoming, not to mention I relearned some good lessons as well, about experience with friends and family. A really good trip, accept for the ticket i got in New Mexico from a rookie cop that pulled me over for doing 83 mph in a 75 zone. Thats nothing in Cali, bastard. Anyway we got back that saturday, I just chilled up until Wednesday. I have been able to see an old friend to and weve hung out quite a bit. Josh you might remember Moe Metzger. We all should hang together soon, both he and i are looking forward to seeing old friends, weve already hung out with Johnmark, Luke, and James Coleman. Moe says he's kept in touch with Megan Haver whom im looking forward to see. Anyway, So i went to church that wednesday and i was telling people how i was going to go apply at the casino my sister works at the very next day. But one of the new guys, Scott, there said he had a job oppening that might interest me. Locating for Utiliquest. Wasnt quite sure what it was about, but starting pay is $11.50 p/hr, with room for expansion, and I dont need previous experience. So I called the next day, thursday, was told to come in the next day. So friday i filled out an app and had an interview. Saturday I filled out new hire paperwork and took the peepee test. That monday I was on my way to Riverside for training. I stayed there for a week training, the company paid for the hotel and will reimburse me $25 dollars a day for food. When I got back I hung out with a bunch of friends on the weekend packed it as full as i could. More training on monday down here in Mira Mesa though. I just finished that week and had my weekend witch was a blast. Fiday I went barhopping with Moe, sort of, only 2 bars, one up the street from my house with a friday karyoke and the next was hosting battle of the bands. Saturday I woke up and went to my friend's Silas and Victoria's wedding followed by their reception. My sister was the maid of honor. I was just happy that Silas remembered me and was glad that I came. The cool thing about this wedding other than seeing them both so happy was the fact that it was a Medival wedding. The reception was a blast, even though I was one of the very few single people there, I was one of the very few of the single people enjoying myself. Me and some goodlooking bridesmades were cutting some rug. And then they busted out the techno, oh snap. Our whole group of younger friends went crazy, especially me and Silas. I swear we could have started our own boy band with our moves. When the reception died down I had to fullfill my promise to Tino and head back north. Me, Tino, Roxanne (tino's gal) and her two nieces, all went ice skating. That is always fun, I didnt fall, me and tino gooffed around, we played tag, had races, and i watched the attractive other girls that attended, like there was this one that looked proffesional. Then me and tino went to a house party, got and met some interestion people. I spent the night at Tino's and on sunday watched the wrestling payperview Vengance. It was the best payperview i had seen in a long time. If i had had the money i would have gone to Las Vegas to watch it live, and do that other things, I mean ITS VEGAS BABY. It is monday now, and Im about to go to a going away bonfire for the newly weds.... so i guess that means im done typing your ear off.
LOVE, PEACE, and CHICKEN GREASE!
