So....quick life story. i spent all summer working at the gwc waterfront sailing and fixing boats, heck of a fun time. then i left for university of virginia. here i am planning on a dbl major of engineering and music. i spend most of my time here doing homework and trying to exercise. ive been playing a bit of raquetball with a guy on the hall--it pretty cool. im also taking i hr perc. lessons every week, which is a bitch with all the practicing, and i have to perform for a jury on dec. 3. i raced (sailing) at quite a few regattas this fall, ive been speding a lot of time with the sailing team. the first regatta i sailed in uva got 9th out of 18. the second one, (at georgetown...at the end of the mall, downtown dc) we placed 7th out of 17. it was cold as hell in georgetown and really really windy..so much fun. at Christopher Newport University, i skippered my first college regatta with a crew that hadn;t sailed before. needless to say, i got an average of 7.5 the first day (out of 8), but i got better the second day and got an average of 4.5. i made a lot of really bad mistakes the second day tho...so i think i can definitely do better in the spring. im also thinking of running for the position of fleet captain in the club, which would look good on a resume. as of write now, im finishing up a pre-lab for my chem lab on thurs (last one ever!!!!!)...but it really hard...i leave for DC at 2:00 on friday and i fly into o'hare friday night. i really can't wait to be home. thats all....
good enough for you?
